Skills/Curriculum Vitae

My skills are painting pictures, teaching painting, and writing indexes for science/biological/medical books, since 1994.

I am a retired member of the Society of Indexers (MSocInd(Adv)).

I was also an Operating Department Assistant (ODA) for ten years in the 1970s.

Curriculum Vitae:

Lifetime Artist alongside work (nursing, teaching, writing science indexes).

Studies at Brighton University in Art and Printmaking in 1990s. Passes with Commendation.

Exhibitions locally in Sussex, Fiveways Artists Open Houses, Chichester Oxmarket Centre, Michelham Priory, Lancing Library, Fishing Quarter Gallery SSP Exhibition.

Two prizes won in 2020 and 2021: Caran D'Ache Prize, and Society for All Artists (SAA) Award.

Small water colour classes given in my home for 7 years, before COVID restrictions.

I love to teach, and help people understand the fun to be had with paint, especially out of doors. Contact me if are interested in classes or private tuition.

Now love Plein air painting, mostly in acrylics.
